Graduated in engraving on hard stones from the Istituto d’Arte di Napoli (1978–1983) and in Sculpture from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan (1983–1987).
From 1993 to 2001 he lived in New York, where he worked as an assistant in the studios of Nam June Paik and Shigeko Kubota.
Since 2006 he has held the chair of Sculpture at the Liceo Artistico di Brera in Milan, and he also teaches Digital Applications for Art at IED Milan.
